I am perpetually seeking understanding, and the more I learn the more insignificant the sum of my knowledge seems to be- my ideas about the universe grow faster than my understanding of it.  i chose “Blindman” as a title because I love the story of the Blind Men and the Elephant.  I think that when seeking to know God, we are all like the blind men in the story- perceiving but a small piece of the whole, and struggling to understand the validity of others perceptions that differ from ours.  I like to believe that God, in his wisdom, reveals that part of hinself to us that is most likely to cause us to seek him out, and hope that we are nearing the time when we can all respect other beliefs as just another part of the Whole Elephant that has yet to be revealed to us.
